Narcis Coste is a Romanian software and infrastructure engineer with a background in broadcast, live production and video technology. Over a decade of designing and operating complex live-streaming and AV systems, including remote, virtual and medical telepresence environments, shaped how he builds. As co-founder of Online Video Network and founder of ShortClips.ro, he has worked across broadcast, content production and digital media. His current work focuses on custom software, AI automation, self-hosted infrastructure, APIs and media systems. His distinctive strength is combining software engineering with deep, practical knowledge of real-time video and broadcast infrastructure.

Today I bring that same real-time engineering rigour to software: web platforms, AI agents and automation, Linux servers and the infrastructure that runs them. One person, from concept to production, fully accountable for the technical side.
For years I worked in professional video and broadcast: founder of ShortClips.ro (short-form video for brands and creators) and co-founder and General Manager of OVN (Online Video Network), where we built live streaming, virtual and hybrid event productions, including formats for large brands and organisations. That world runs on real-time systems, studio infrastructure and tools like vMix, OBS, NDI and SDI, and it taught me to build things that simply cannot fail on air.
That same engineering mindset, reliable real-time systems built to hold up under pressure, is what I now bring to software.
As the technical lead, I designed and ran, end to end, some of the most complex live productions for Radio ZU, including Orasul Faptelor Bune, RadioAventura and the concerts staged there, all broadcast live. From signal flow and studio systems to streaming and multi-cam direction, the full technical build was mine.
Beyond media and web, I have designed and installed live telepresence systems for major Romanian hospitals, including the Bucharest University Emergency Hospital (SUUB), the Targu Mures Emergency Hospital and Elias University Emergency Hospital. In the angiography suite I integrated PTZ video cameras together with the live fluoroscopy feed from the angiograph into a single telepresence system with two-way audio and video.
This lets senior professors follow a neuro-intervention in real time from another location, talk directly to the operating surgeon and coordinate the procedure remotely. It is zero-margin-for-error work: real-time signal, medical-grade reliability and clean two-way communication inside the operating room.
